Existing deterministic model of bucket wheel loadings has been described. New statistical approach to digging forces modelling of hard diggable soils with bucket wheel excavators has been presented on the basis of actual research on parameters of this process. Extreme values of statistical asymptotic distributions of steel structure stress and unit digging resistances are the basis for modelling. The model of component tangent digging force operating directly on the edge bucket of bucket wheel excavators was proposed. The further procedure connected with verification of proposed statistical model was discussed. Regulations of load carrying structures dimensioning and existing inconveniences have been discussed. Reasons of fatigue fracturing in these structures have been indicated. Previous assessment methods of fatigue life resources based on research have been presented. Description and operational scheme of a system of constant monitoring of load carrying structure effort of opencast mining basic machines has been placed. Advantages resulting from system implementation in current exploitation of machines have been given. Possibilities of system implementation in brown coal opencast mines have been discussed.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Procedury badawcze maszyn górnictwa odkrywkowego wprowadzanych na rynek Unii Europejskiej(2007) Alenowicz, JerzyQuestions connected with location of surface mining equipment on the European Union market as well as definitions of elementary concepts and terms have been presented in the article. A complex assemblage of regulations referring to the principles of surface mining equipment location and usage on European Union market has been discussed. Primary obligations rested with a producer who locates surface mining equipment on EU market have been described. A short description of research in a range of estimation of conformity with New Approach Directives in the mechanical and electrical section has been presented. Risk assessment, as factor aiming at achievement of the highest possible safety level of the equipment, adequate for technology state and resulting restrictions, have been discussed. Rules of readjustment of machines operated currently to European Union regulations have been presented. Examples of research conducted by Poltegor Institute after European Union integration have been described.
