    The aim of this thesis was to describe the application of spectral decomposition in thin beds analysis on the basis of Grobla - Uście Solne - Rylowa 3D seismic survey. The project was realised by using OpendTect software. Synthetic sections, prepared in advance, became analysed in the context of optimum parameters selection, in order to provide the computations results effectiveness of spectral decomposition attribute. Next the real seismic data were examined. The main attention was focused on the spectral decomposition method utility evaluation in order to determine the wedge incidence, route of meandering riverbed and hydrocarbon reservoirs detection in case of saturated areas existence as thin-bed formations.
