Building methodology of the technological model considering all exploitation phases of open pit and including lignite quality variables is given. Moreover, the lignite processing with lignite transportation to power plant by belt conveyors system is presented. Dewatering problems relative to specific Barsingsar region climatic conditions together with land reclamation program and mine closure plan are presented in the paper.
