Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Aktualizacja modelu stratygraficznego złoża węgla brunatnego Bełchatów - Pole Bełchatów przy użyciu oprogramowania Mincom(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Frankowski, Ryszard; Gądek, AndrzejAfter four years of utilizing digital model of the deposit, in result of drilling many new research drill holes, in the beginning of this year (2009) undertaken was the task to update the possessed model in the area of »Bełchatów« field. In the result of gained experiences introduced was a new way of creating contour lines based surfaces, that are used to apply trends to geological layers modeled. This new approach to the process of creating of trend contour lines as well as taking into consideration new drillings and associated new quality samples results in better quality and better match between model and the reality uncovered in result of exploitation being carried. Currently the updated model allows for more reliable and more accurate mine plans to be created. This article describes work performed by Geological department of PGE KWB »Bełchatów« SA (Bełchatów mine) in cooperation with Katowice (Poland) branch of Mincom International.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Gospodarka złożem Bełchatów z wykorzystaniem geologicznych modeli komputerowych(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2011) Silarska, Edyta; Frankowski, Ryszard; Kapusta, JacekThe usage of continuously updated digital models of the Pole Bełchatów and Pole Szczerców fields as well as the know-how acquired allow for applying the information provided by them within a broad scope of activities. The model makes it possible to create maps, geological sections of the entire field, its part or the planned shortwall. It provides information concerning lithology, stratigraphy or coal quality - depending on the needs. The software user may calculate the necessary data for short- or long-term mining operations quickly and much more precisely. The generated data are of good quality and reflect the actual characteristics confirmed by the ongoing exploitation.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Krótkookresowe planowanie robót górniczych z wykorzystaniem oprogramowania MineScape w BOT KWB »Bełchatów« SA(2007) Frankowski, Ryszard; Gądek, Andrzej; Sośniak, EdwardShort-term mining activity planning has being carried on in BOT KWB Bełchatów SA since late seventies of last century. Work-plans for primary machines are being prepared for all stripping & mining levels of Bełchatów and Szczerców pits as well as spoil-banks of each pit individually. In it's mining part, a work-plan includes following types ot information: current pit geometry, location of drill holes, current and planned location of relevant conveyor belt together with conveyor segments numbering (every 10th segment numbered), descriptions of planned mining technology activities. In it's geological part a work-plan include information on total volume, quantity & quality of coal and accompanying minerals, planned for excavation in a given mining-pass, natural hazards, equipment left in drill holes, cartographic picture of current mining bench. Considering the amount of data gathered and documented on a work-plan map, and amount of work involved in creation of such maps/documents, ever since early nineties of last century a computer-based systems have been used to support the process of creating them. In the mining part of a work-plan creation it was UK based software system called MOSS/TM (and it's newer version called MX/TM). For geological part it was UK based system DATAMINE/TM and computer programs created by Poltegor-Instylut (database + related programs). In 2004 BOT KWB Bełchatów SA purchased software system called MINESCAPE/TM produced by an Australian software company MINC0M/TM. Based on digital models of deposit geology, considering areas of expected natural hazards, technical parameters of machines and also based on long-term mining plans (so called directive mine designs), the excavator work-plan is being created using MINESCAPE/TM system.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Złoże węgla brunatnego »Złoczew« - budowa geologiczna, zasoby i perspektywy eksploatacji(2007) Borowicz, Andrzej; Frankowski, Ryszard; Gądek, Andrzej; Jończyk, Waldemar; Specylak-Skrzypecka, Joanna; Ślusarczyk, Grażyna»Złoczew« brown coal deposit discovered in the 1950s may become a satellite-bed for BOT in the near future, for the sake of comparable quality and quantity parameters in relation to Bełchatow brown coal deposit (Szczerców field) and because of localization (50 km to the north-west from Bełchatów power plant). This requires certain actions resulting from geological and mining regulations and from formal and legal activities. Presently »Złoczew« brown coal bed deposited in a rift valley is documented in C2 category by means of 64 boreholes made in 1961-1979. Paleogen and neogen sediments, over 300 m thick, fill the rift valley. The coal formation complex formed of coal beds separated by barren measures of clay, slime, sand, gyttja, lake-marl is maximally almost 130 m thick (in the central part of the bed).
