    The drilling technologies applied to geoengineering tasks allow revitalising surface (in the range of old goaf) on the area of liquidated underground mines. The scope of the work covers the following tasks: ways and methods of estimation the range of old, shallow excavation in the vicinity of liquidated mines were described, the regions with discontinuous deformations hazard were classified, the optimum geoengineering methods for elimination of sink hole hazard in the range of old, shallow mining excavation were elaborated, the new method of numerical modelling of shallow underground openings was worked out, the values of factor of safety of rock mass were calculated with the shear strength reduction technique, the evaluation of efficiency of applied technologies, in the light of reconditioning of surface usable values in the range of old goaf, was carried out.
