    Application of the ground penetrating radar survey in archeology has became more and more popular nowadays. This paper is about the ground penetrating radar research, which was conducted in two churches in Cracow: Basilica of Holy Heart of Jesus and Church of SS. Peter and Paul. The main aim of this research was to verify the architectonic plans and discover whether there is heterogeneity in the basis or not. The results of investigation were processed in three different programs: GPR, Ground Vision 2 and Reflex, in order to establish which of these programs is the most effective in processing of that kind of data. Processed profiles were interpreted and a degree of realization of established aims were verified. These profiles were also compared with other profiles, which were conducted in different churches. It permitted to establish some pattern of reflections, which would be characteristic for the structures like crypt or corridor, which are situated under floors of churches. The outcomes of the analysis were amazing.
