The aim of this thesis is evaluation of Quaternary groundwater trends quality changes in the north fragment of MGWB-425 in the Nowa Dęba region. The thesis contains information about the hydrogeological conditions and geological structure of the investigated area. The particular attention has been devoted to hydrogeochemical characteristics. The actual chemical composition, the hydrogeochemical background for selected chemical compounds and chemical status of Quaternary groundwater has been characterized. Furthermore, the chemical composition of investigated groundwater’s has been described with its changes in time and space.

Ocena zmian efektywności procesów oczyszczania ścieków w oczyszczalni ścieków "Kujawy"

Regulation of the Minister of Environment of 24 July 2006 (Journal of Laws No. 137, item. 984), together with the legal operate water treatment plants impose the minimum degree of reduction of pollutants in waste water discharged into the environment. The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of changes in wastewater treatment Wastewater Treatment Plant „Kujawy” belonging to the Municipal Water and Sewage SA in Krakow covering the period from January 2005 to August 2011, the general characteristics of the object of a discussion of the geographical and hydrogeological conditions of the area covered by the influence of plant. Then describes in detail the process of sewage treatment, which consists of two stages: mechanical and biological. In order to assess the effectiveness of treatment changes were careful analysis of indicators: BOD, COD, total nitrogen, ammonia nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, total phosphorus, total suspended and pH. Test results of these compounds are presented in the form of line graphs and histograms for raw sewage, the mechanical and biological purification, and the efficiency of treatment are presented as a percentage reduction of the total. Analysis of the data showed that the treatment must improve their work the removal of nitrogen and phosphorus, and to adapt to new conditions due to start Collector Lower Wisła Terraces.

Uwarunkowania geośrodowiskowe zagospodarowania terenów w rejonie Trzebini

Celem niniejszej pracy była weryfikacja uwarunkowań geośrodowiskowych istotnych przy wyborze konkretnych rozwiązań przestrzennych. Uwarunkowania abiotyczne poszerzono o tło czynników przyrody ożywionej. Analiza seryjnych opracowań kartograficznych: map geośrodowiskowych Polski w skali 1:50 000, geologiczno-gospodarczych Polski w skali 1:50 000, geologicznych Polski w skali 1:50 000, hydrogeologicznych Polski w skali 1:50 000 oraz hydrograficznych Polski w skali 1:50 000 umożliwiła syntetyczne ich ujęcie. Kompilacja ta oprócz inwentaryzacji wskazuje ponadto na ważne ograniczenia gospodarki przestrzennej w gminie Trzebinia. Obraz z wymienionych map został zweryfikowany w terenie.
