    Perspektywy wykorzystania wód i energii geotermalnej w rejonie Rzeszowa

    Complex geological structure of the region of Rzeszów is characterized in the paper. Estimated temperatures of geothermal waters in the reservoirs of structural- geothermal units are presented. Geothermal energy resources in the Miocene, Flysch and Carboniferous- Devonian reservoirs near Rzeszów are discussed. Parameters characterizing these reservoirs, i.e. depth, porosity, temperature, water volume and thermal energy in geothermal waters are listed in Table. An analysis of available material and description of possibilities of using geothermal waters and geothermal energy of the region are given.
