Analiza wpływu punktowych źródeł zanieczyszczeń pyłowych na mikroklimat aglomeracji krakowskiej

Celem pracy było zbadanie wpływu pyłów PM2,5 na mikroklimat aglomeracji krakowskiej oraz analiza współzależności dyspersji pyłów i elementów mikroklimatu. Wybrano bazowe źródła emisji: Lotnisko Kraków-Balice, ArcelorMittal, Ekospalarnia i Elektrociepłownia Kraków. Przeprowadzono analizę ilościową stężeń pyłów PM2,5 automatycznie oraz jakościową metodą grawimetryczną i ICP- AES. W próbkach stwierdzono obecność metali ciężkich: niklu, arsenu, kadmu i ołowiu, co podkreśla potrzebę monitorowania ze względu na szkodliwość. Analiza wyników wykazała, że prędkość wiatru jest najważniejszym czynnikiem wpływającym na dyspersję zanieczyszczeń. Model regresji wielokrotnej pokazał odwrotną zależność prędkości wiatru i koncentracji pyłów oraz wysoką dodatnią zależność temperatury i stężenia pyłów. Implementacja modelu HYSPLIT do symulacji transportu mas powietrza i zanieczyszczeń umożliwiła precyzyjne zlokalizowanie źródeł oraz odtworzenie kierunków napływu zanieczyszczeń oraz ocenę miejsc ich depozycji. Wyniki potwierdziły możliwość prognozy zmian mikroklimatu poprzez modelowanie trajektorii powietrza i dyspersji pyłów PM2,5. Podkreślono konieczność dalszych badań, monitoringu oraz działań proekologicznych i edukacyjnych dla poprawy jakości powietrza. Zaproponowano intensyfikację kampanii, rozwój monitoringu oraz promocję indywidualnej odpowiedzialności mieszkańców Krakowa za środowisko.

The maintenance of equilibrium in natural environment is a crucial criterion of proper functioning of industrial objects. Mining activity causes a threat to natural environment, including human health and life. Respondents to sociological investigations were chosen through purposeful selection. The subject of analysis was questionnaires of people living in mining areas and professionally related with mining. The response allowed to get acquainted with a scope of their interests as well as with opinions on environmental matters at the domicile. Environmental nuisances caused by the mining industry are considered very significant by habitants of Silesia region. The influence of mining activity on the health of the population has been emphasized in particular.

The aim of thesis was demonstrate the economic and environmental aspects of energetic basket willow’s cultivation. The first part of work describes the biomass as a renewable energy source. Another part describes energetic willow. There is an analysis of production woodchips stages. The last part of the theoretical introduction is description of the sewage sludge, which were used during the field test to fertilize selected willow clones. The last part of the thesis is the description and analysis of field research carried out, involving the measurement of weight gain willow located on an experimental plantation of the Forest Inspectorate Brodła in the Malopolska voivodeship. On the basis of selected clone with the greatest weight gain, which was a clone of 1056, and used it to set up a hypothetical one-acre willow’s plantation. For plantations of the calculated effect of ecological, economic analysis was conducted and determined its social function.

The chapter presents ways of producing energy in accordance with the idea of sustainable development. The implementation of European environmental policy through a circular economy is described. The importance of access to environmental data and modern measurement techniques in quantitative and qualitative analyses was emphasised. The benefits of using classical methods and deep and reinforcement learning techniques for modelling energy processes were indicated. The use of innovative catalytic and sorptive materials for waste gas purification and carbon dioxide conversion and management is discussed. The importance of identifying and quantifying critical points along the fuel value chain is demonstrated. The importance of investment and regulatory decisions in the decarbonisation process is presented.

The goal of this dissertation is designing and attempt to implement the model of the waste management of valuable natural areas. The valuable natural areas have their own specificity, characterized by a high value of nature both animate and inanimate. The waste management in these areas requires additional, special conditions. In new system the waste management will be implemented by the Waste Management Institutes (Zakłady Zagospodarowania Odpadów - ZZO) at the regional level. On the basis of the opinions of the offices of communes, the management boards of national parks, residents of the Małopolska region and the experts, the assessment of waste management in national parks was prepared. The method of descriptive analysis of results, tabular and graphical methods of data presentation were used in the analyses. The analysis of correlations of phenomenon was prepared using the Pearson's rectilinear correlation and partial correlation, multiple regression and statistical tests for qualitative variables. The studies involved the method of the analytic hierarchy process AHP and modeling and design of the e-application prototype. The original program of environmental education to the public in waste management was developed too. The analysis of the reference books and own research confirmed the thesis, that it is possible to design a model of waste management in the community with valuable natural areas.

The aim of thesis was demonstrate the possibilities of sustainable development (economic, social, environmental infrastructure) in the city Nowy Sącz. In the first part of work describes the history of sustainable development, objectives, aspects, pillars, and conferences on environmental protection and sustainable development. Then characterized Sądecczyzna and the city Nowy Sącz, and presents the socio-economic situation of the city, analyzed SWOT analysis and opinion about Nowy Sącz. Own research was conducted in the form of a questionnaire on environmental awareness of residents of Nowy Sacz, which resulted, rather, that the respondents are not interested in the problems arising from environmental pollution and air and their ecological knowledge is average. At the end on the basis of studies attempted to scratch the vision of the city in the future, as well as environmental plants described in Nowy Sącz.
