Wydział Inżynierii Mechanicznej i RobotykiThe problem of estimation of the environmental noise hazard indices and their uncertainty is presented in the hereby dissertation. The main attention is focused on the estimation process of the long-term noise indicators i.e. the A-weighted long-term average sound level $L_{DEN}$ and the A-weighted long-term average night sound level and their type A standard uncertainty. The three new algorithms for calculating an expected value and type A standard uncertainty are proposed in the paper. For this purpose was used kernel estimator of the probability density function, the resampling bootstrap method and the Bayesian inference. There was presented the example of calculation process which make possible determining searching estimators of expected value and variance of long-term noise indicators. The illustration for indicated solutions and usefulness analysis was constant monitoring results of a traffic noise recorded in 2004, 2005, 2008, 2009 year on one of the main arteries of Krakow, Poland. The comparison of the obtained results with the classical estimates expected value and standard uncertainty, were undertaken. The classical estimates was calculated by the rules given in the 1SO/IEC Guide 98. For the purposes of scientific investigation and this doctor's thesis in the Matlab software packet was created application. It is used to calculate the searching estimates of long-term noise indicators using the algorithms presented in this dissertation.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , The active noise control issues related to the noise generated by the power transformers(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2005) Zawieska, Wiktor MarekThe paper presents vibroacoustic tests of power transformers with regard to active reduction of their noise. Basic sources of vibroacoustic energy are determined and a system of active reduction of noise (ANC) emitted by power transformers, developed by CIOP-PIB, is presented. Moreover, the results of preliminary tests of the system in real conditions are presented.
