Wytrzymałość elektryczna gazowych układów izolacyjnych wysokiego napięcia

Zagadnienia wytrzymałości elektrycznej są jedną z podstawowych dziedzin w problematyce wysokonapięciowej, ta z kolei - stanowi jedną z głównych grup problemowych w elektroenergetyce. Pojęcie wytrzymałości elektrycznej dotyczy materiałów i układów izolacyjnych urządzeń elektrycznych wysokiego napięcia, w których głównym narażeniem eksploatacyjnym jest silne pole elektryczne. Jego oddziaływanie w dielektrykach wchodzących w skład układów izolacyjnych stanowi główną barierę w dążeniu do podwyższania napięć znamionowych tych urządzeń oraz optymalizacji ich konstrukcji. Efektem działania silnych pól elektrycznych w gazowych układach izolacyjnych są procesy jonizacji, inicjujące różne formy wyładowań elektrycznych, których występowanie oznacza wzrost konduktywności gazu i prowadzi do przeskoku przy określonym napięciu. Treścią książki są analizy tych zjawisk, obejmujące ich podstawy teoretyczne oraz aspekty techniczne związane z procedurami badań wytrzymałości elektrycznej. Uwzględniono podstawowe grupy form wyładowań elektrycznych w powietrzu i w gazach elektroizolacyjnych, w małych i wielkich odstępach izolacyjnych.

Trends in modern exception handling

Exception handling is nowadays a necessary component of error proof information systems. The paper presents overview of techniques and models of exception handling, problems connected with them and potential solutions. The aspects of implementation of propagation mechanisms and exception handling, their effect on semantics and general program efficiency are also taken into account. Presented mechanisms were adopted to modern programming languages. Considering design area, formal methods and formal verification of program properties we can notice exception handling mechanisms are weakly present what makes a field for future research.

Automatyczna klasyfikacja rzeczowników do grup semantycznych na podstawie korpusu tekstów

This article presents a method of classification of nouns into semantic groups based on statistical inference. The algorithm uses the inflectional dictionary of the Polish language and a corpus of texts to analyse adjective-noun relationships. The semantic groups are consistent with the categorization in the WordNet dictionary. The classification of nouns into semantic groups is a small step towards constructing a semantic dictionary for the Polish language.

Model of Internet system client service

At present, service of different kinds of internet clients involves necessity of defining their behaviour in various situations. To determine optimal solutions it is purposeful to know and to describe objectively their behaviour by means of mathematical models. In this article there are presented existing solutions of the discussed problem and the own model of service of internet clients is proposed.

Na stronie internetowej omówiono przykładowe zastosowania techniki satelitarnej w badaniach Ziemi. Teledetekcja (przy użyciu fotografii, skanerów, telewizji, radiometrów, radarów i innych) oraz system GPS mają zastosowanie w ww. działach geofizyki. Większość zamieszczonych tu materiałów jest streszczeniem prac różnych autorów, których nazwiska wraz z odnośnikami do literatury umieszczone są poniżej każdego zacytowanego fragmentu. Materiał stanowi uzupełnienie wiadomości z przedmiotów Fizyka Ziemi oraz Geofizyka ogólna realizowanych na Wydziale Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony Środowiska AGH. <br>Praca została wyróżniona (4 miejsce) w konkursie <a href="https://notatki.cel.agh.edu.pl/">„Notatki w Internecie”</a> (edycja 2003).

Generowanie maszyn Turinga poprzez zastosowanie nowych modeli obliczeniowych

For each problem that can be solved there exists algorithm, which can be described with a program of Turing machine. Because this is very simple model programs tend to be very complicated and hard to analyse by human. The best practice to solve given type of problems is to define a new model of computation that allows for quick and easy programming, and then to emulate its operation with Turing machine. This article shows how to define most suitable model for computation on natural numbers and defines Turing machine that emulates its operation.

Early estimation of project size and completion time is essential for successful project planning and tracking. Multiple methods have been proposed to estimate software size and cost parameters. Suitability of the estimation methods depends on many factors like software application domain, product complexity, availability of historical data, team expertise etc. Most common and widely used estimation techniques are described and analyzed. Current research trends in software estimation cost are also presented.

Budowa optymalnych modeli uczenia na podstawie wtórnych źródeł wiedzy

In the research a new conception of knowledge extraction from data has been developed. The characteristic feature of this approach was the multiple (i.e. by means of different machine learning tools) analysis of a primary source of knowledge (e.g. decision table), which supplied multi¬ple learning models, called here secondary sources of knowledge. Two different methods were used in the re¬ search. The first one relies on a separate optimization of each developed secondary source. The second method was distinctly different. In the first step, all developed secondary sources (decision rules) were merged together and then, the entire joined (large) model, was optimized using the same set of generic operations. To generate learning models (in the form of decision rules) a few well-known machine learning algorithms were used. In the next step, these learning models (secondary sources) have been optimized using a set of generic optimization operations. Improved models for both methods, were then evaluated - via testing the classification accuracy. To summarize results obtained, it might be stated that the optimization of learning models, using generic operations, yielded quite interesting and satisfactory results. Namely, the error rate, number of rules, average number of conditions decreased, and average value of rule strength in- creased. The improvement of learning models will play a significant role in a case of very extended models, i.e. models which contain very large set of rules.

The II-VI wide band-gap semiconductors are very interesting materials because of their potential application in electronic devices like electroluminescence diodes, lasers or light detectors. They can be used in producing data storage devices, display devices or multijunction solar cells. There are many methods for the preparation of these materials. Electrodeposition has been found to be a very good method to fabricate thin films of compound semiconductors. It is low-cost and simple method with many advantages as: possibility of a deposition on large surface areas (even irregular), and assures precise control of this process by adjusting several parameters. The main goal of this work is to analyze the mechanism and kinetics of the electrosynthesis of zinc selenide by electrochemical process from aqueous solution. The voltammetric, hydrodynamic and electrogravimetric measurements were carried out under following condition: concentration of $ZnSO_{4} \; \; 0,1-0,8 \; mol/dm^{3}, \; H_{2}SeO_{3} \; 0,001-0,008 \; mol/dm^{3}, \; pH=2$, temperature 25-75°C. Subsequently process of deposition was carry out under potentiostatic conditions. The influence of deposition potential, the composition and temperaturę of the electrolyte on the stoichiometry composition and morphology of the obtained deposits were examined.

Analiza efektywności modulacji wielotonowej z transformatą kosinusową

Subject of this dissertation is analysis of multitone transmission in terms of data rate and bit error rate. It focuses on data transmission in digital subscriber loop (DSL). DSL networks can use both single carrier modulations, and multitone modulations, that split input data stream into substreams, transmitted in separate frequency bands. Major advantage of multitone modulations is robustness against narrowband noise, which allows optimization of data rate. On the other hand, a big drawback is its computational complexity. Thesis are as follows: a) in a multitone transmission FFT can be replaced with the DCT, b) in a multitone transmission reduction of Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) is possible, using an algorithm of low computational complexity. Key aspects include: a new constellation diagram for DCMT, design of DCMT modulator and demodulator, a detailed comparison with the DMT, and a description of a new PAPR reduction method for a multitone transmission. Simulations show that the DCMT transmission, in comparison to the DMT, allows for a greater data rate and robustness against the white noise.
