    Wykorzystanie profilometrii cieniowej do odwzorowania obiektów w przestrzeni 3D

    In dissertation possibilities of application of shadow profilometry in order to 3D object imaging were introduced. Main types of measurement techniques and their application were depicted. Chosen metrological method was described closely. By using image processing and analysis the complete algorithm was introduced and 3D object model was created. Obtained result was discussed and encountered problems were pointed out. The pros and cons of shadow profilometry and final conclusions were specified.

    X-ray tomography imaging: a necessary tool for materials science

    This paper gives an overview on different examples of X-ray tomography applications in the field of materials science. It highlights the necessity of applying the technique to investigate scientific problem which cannot be solved with conventional imaging tools.
