    Analiza możliwości zastosowania badań zmienno-polaryzacyjnych w metodzie georadarowej

    This study was focused on two issues. The first was to determine the most optimal georadar polarization measurement system to deal with archeological issues. The second task was to conduct detailed three- dimensional studies at selected archeological sites, with measurement system selected on the basis of studies carried out in the first stage of work. As a result of floating-polarization test research, which were conducted in Kokotow near Cracow and Babi Dol near Gdansk using different georadar measuring system geometries, best results were received with parallel arrangement of antenna deployment perpendicular to the profile lines. Using selected measuring system geometry, common-offset reconnaissance research in parallel grid were performed. After the interpretation anomalies were selected, which probably are caused by archaeological objects. At the site in Kokotow and one of the sites in Babi Dol additional magnetometry studies were performed, that were used to determine whether the anomalies recorded in echograms are due to metal objects.
