    The main purpose of this study was to analyze the lithology and the possibility of limestone and dolomite from the Devonian deposits of „Budy” mine. The work includes general characteristics of the area and geological deposits. Diagnosed with lithological variations occur and describes the practical possibilities of their use. Produced raw materials are also presented and analyzed them for the current building standards.

    Modelowanie złoża dolomitów i wapieni BUDY w aspekcie planowania dalszej eksploatacji (przy wykorzystaniu programu GeoPlan)

    Documentation of mineral deposits is the basis of effective and rational management of them. Modernization this part of deposit management is necessary today. In this paper resources of north (undeveloped) part of dolomites and limestones Budy deposit were estimated using GeoStar and GeoPlan programs. With help of this software, geological sections and models of deposit selected parameters were made. On base of them, dependencies between modeling parameters and tectonics of deposit were proved. Performed observations emphasized the role of multi-layered analysis of Budy deposit parameters (with use of numerical methods) during planning activities for further exploitation.

    Ocena zróżnicowania jakości kopaliny w złożu kamieni łamanych „Budy”

    This thesis presents rating diversity of quality limestones and dolomites in “Budy” deposit. Based on available literature and the rich, I have discussed the geological and geographical location of the deposit and its geological and mining conditions. The second part of the thesis relates its quality of minerals rating. The basis for the analysis of raw material, were data from boreholes and the geological documentation. I have considered physical-mechanical properties such as: apparent density, water absorptivity, compressive strength, resistance to freezing and grinolability in Los Angeles drum. In addition, quality analysis included chemical properties: CaO and MgO contents and description of lithology devonian formation.
