    The aim of the work was to create an application, which will be used for convertion of seismic data traces to SEGY file format for the purpose of visualization and processing by means of seismic system procedures. Analysis of the header was realized on the base of SEGY rev. 1. specification. The results were checked for field and model data. The object of a research was a CDP ensemble and single seismic records. For a creation of an application Dev-C/C++ 4.9.9.2 compiler and „C” language were used.
