This problem is connected with the Kyoto Protocol regulations and limits of greenhouse gases emission. This article shows the costs of two technologies of carbon combustion for electricity generation: Pulverized Coal (PC) combustion and Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) combustion. Some economical aspects to the geological sequestration are also mentioned.
