    The following paper discusses the potential of Petrel Software in geological modelling. The procedure of creating static three-dimensional model of deep aquiferous layers of Carboniferous in Lublin region is presented in respect to petrophysical parameters. The parameters’ value enable the process of carbon dioxide sequestration. There are described the geological conditions of the chosen region particularly Carboniferous formation. The term of carbon dioxide sequestration is explained. The obtained data and its compilation encourage to create the spatial, computer model using Petrel Software 2011. Finally, the data are collected and described.
