    The master thesis „Geological and reservoir analysis of autochthonous Miocene formations in Pogwizdów gas reservoir” presents results of field investigations and geological and reservoir studies for the presence of hydrocarbons in autochthonous Miocene, located in the Carpathian Foredeep in the Pogwizdow region. The thesis describes geological structure of Carpathian Foredeep, characteristic of Miocene formations, lithological and structural profiles as well as origin and development of Carpathian Foreland. It presents geological structure in the Pogwizdow gas deposit in details and state recognition of the reservoir itself. Boundaries of reservoir were defined for each specific horizon, and also resources of main and accompanying minerals with use of recoverability criteria have been described.
