    Cracow Fortress is the set of Austrian defense objects that were built between 1849 and 1917 in Cracow. The forts are located throughout the city and its surroundings. It is an exceptional group of fortifications. They were left in different conditions. Now we can explore a lot of them. Samples collected from selected objects were analyzed with macrography, micrography and laboratory tests. It has been certified that Cracow Fortress were built with Diplopore Dolomites, Jurassic Limestones, and Istebna Sandstones.
