    Ocena perspektywiczności rejonu Bayanlig (Mongolia) pod kątem występowania złóż metali

    Exploration works in Mongolia in 2011 was focus on the polymetallic mineralization in Bayanlig area (N-Gobi district). Field works included geological mapping, sampling, drill core logging and making pan concentrates analysis. During these works the outcrops containing copper, nickel, chrome, lead and iron mineralization have been found in different geological environments. Examination of heavy fraction concentrate and polished section were used for classification of mineral association. The Ni-Cr association is related to the ultramaphic suit composed mostly of serpentinites and related amfibolites, therefore Cu sulphide association represents hydrothermal processes.
