    Zastosowanie metod GIS do analizy lineamentów obszaru miedzy Krynicą a Nowym Sączem

    This paper presents a lineament analysis in area of Krynica and Nowy Sącz – part of the Jaworzyna Krynicka Range with the GIS methods. Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and vector images received from paper maps were used for this purpose. The best results have been received by filtering used for Digital Elevation Model with an option of edge detector. Furthermore this paper includes: analysis of Shaded Relief Image, slope and aspect maps. The analysis revealed that linear structures are closely related with geology of this area. River valleys and side ribs are especially controlled by structure of the bedrock.
