    Presented thesis describes issues for statistical method for estimating period of the Galilean moons of Jupiter with an amateur observation equipment. Discussed dependences for selection of equipment and observation method. Also presented the basis of astronomical image processing in Iris programme. Afterwards, a comparison of the results to the theoretical waveforms all of the Galilean moons was performed, and estimating of the accuracy of results on the basis of mean square
