    The topic of the study are neighboring sand and gravel deposits (“Radłów 1981” and “Trzydniaki”) which occurred in the Dunajec Valley. The quarries are spaced from each other by a distance of a few kilometers and are situated on the same middle terrace of Dunajec river. Despite of proximity of occurrence, deposits are characterized by different geological and mining conditions and there are another problems connected with exploitation (like water filled quarries and boulders in the deposit). This determines an use of another technologies to the exploitation and consequently affect the opinion on the economic attractiveness of the resources.
