    Shocks are the primary threats occurring in mines. Detection of those threats is possible thanks to microseismic emission. A very common side effect is recording interference and noises. The purpose of this work was to create an application to assess the quality of the microseismic signal. This application aims to distinguish signal and noise by using five created methods. The work also compared the results of these methods with the results of quality assessment of a user in order to demonstrate which method is most effective. The work has been completed presentation of the results effectiveness of methods and reaching final conclusions. As the environment for the implementation of this task choosed program MATLAB.
