    The main aim of my diploma thesis was to establish permeability model in units of similar ability to media flow using artificial neural networks (ANN). This methodology enables us to create an effective permeability model in uncored intervals and wells. First we train the network using representative data in wells with permeability core samples and then apply trained network to uncored intervals or in other wells. Few approaches and tests were performed in the thesis in order to create a good quality ANN. Porosity and permeability data from the Rotliegendes sandstones cores of the Polish Lowland and well logging data were used. All calculations were done using Statistica® (StatSoft) and Techlog® (Schlumberger).
