    Budowa geologiczna środkowej części rowu Złoczewa

    The Złoczew Graben is located at the NE border of the Fore-sudetic Monocline and the Łódz Synclinorium. The basement of the graben includes Upper Jurassic sediments whereas the graben itself is filled mostly with Miocene succession hosting the lignite deposit and overlain by thick Quaternary strata. The following project analyses the results of drillings completed in the central part of lignite deposit for the purpose of deposit assessment (B1+C1 assessment category). Geological structure of the studied fragment of the Złoczew Graben is illustrated with geological cross-sections, structural maps and 3D models supplemented by calculations of selected deposit parameters (volume, average thickness, stripping ratio, etc.). Finally, geological evolution of the Złoczew Graben is summarized.
