    The paper was discussed tourism attractiveness Nowa Ruda which is located in the Central Sudetes. Convenient location and route of communication make easier the arrival in this region. The area of community is characterized by a variety amenities of geological, natural, cultural, landscape. The network of tourists tracks and their diversity encourages to visit them for weekends and longer visit by all the year. Accommodation, catering, recreation are not satisfied and it is concentrated in central and north-east part of the municipality. SWOT analysis which was carry out indicates that the chance for further development of Nowa Ruda commune is going in the tourism industry. Priority should be already existing forms of tourism and other characteristic of this region forms of tourism. It is also important in the field of tourism to the municipality has teamed up with its neighbors, has grown and changed local community attitude.
