    The thesis presents ground penetrating radar investigations in the area of Jasna Góra cloister. The aim of researches was to detect and locate the empty spaces or crypts under flooring of Basilica Jasna Góra . The author of this thesis processed and made attempt of interpretation of the data. The echogram analyses showed several hyperbolical anomalies, which may be caused by cavities (crypts). The thesis contains also description of physical basis of GPR method, GPR equipment and research methodology.
