One of the solutions that can improve the quality of the analyzed region is the use of shallow groundwater lingering in the low-temperature geothermal systems. Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThis thesis presents evaluation of hydrogeological conditions and groundwater circulation scheme in the northern part of MGWB 425 in the Nowa Dęba region. Area was provided with the diagnosis about 40 km2. In the thesis geological conditions, land management, ground- and surface water quality were described. The hydrogeological parameters, which have a direct influence on the aquifer and groundwater circulation, were characterized in details. Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThis work presents the chosen area of MGWB 434 Biała Tarnowska River Valley. Morphology, hydrography, climate, geological and hydrogeological conditions were described in the first chapter. The quality and protection of surface water and groundwater is also presented in this work. This information and assessment of groundwater vulnerability to pollution undertaken using two methods (Mean Residence Time (MRT) and DRASTIC) allowed the specify the requirement for groundwater protection.
