    The aim of this study was to identify Groundwater Dependent Ecosystems (GDE) within Major Groundwater Basin (MGWB) no 326. At the beginning the problem was discussed and working methodology was developed to identify GDE. Based on developed methodology and collected data (geomorphological, hydrographical, geological and hydrogeological) 2 GDE were identified and described. Available data on groundwater table elevations and chemistry as well as identified sources of contamination from the sozological map, allowed for assessing groundwater impacts on GDE. The most important elements of GDE and contamination sources were presented on maps. Finally the proposed actions for the conservation of GDE were discussed. The conclusions of this work may contribute to the extension of protection of GDE and ultimately to improve their quality.
