    The paper shows the analysis of the relationship between still expanding areas of nature conservation and capabilities of rock raw materials exploitation in the vicinity of Skoczow. It was determined the degree of conflict for all deposits. Using the MCE analysis it was examined the possibility of discovering new, prospective deposits of Godula sandstones and Cieszyn limestones. Collected analog and digital data have been subsequently processed using GIS methods.
