    Studies of the trace metals content were performed for bottom sediments of the Grzechynka stream to assess the local rivers anthropogenic pollution. Determination of Zn, Pb, Cd, Cr, Cu, Mn and Fe concentration in the size fraction < 63 ?m of sediments, allowed to identified the contamination level of trace metals in the Grzechynka stream sediments and their potential impact on the river Skawa. Low contamination was recorded for cadmium and copper, however, these values can not affect the river Skawa.
