Geobadania.pl was made with the use of modern application development techniques, such as: Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, Haml and CSS. In the application, a electrical Resistivity Profiling algorithm for a simplified geological / geoelectrical model was implemented as an example of geoelectrical research metod. The website enables viewers to browse through shop’s assortment as well as to put up a new product for an auction after opening new seller’s account. This on-line shop was set up as the SPA application, and was primarily written in the Java programming language. Apart from the typical facilities, the application is useful for trade cooperation outside of the network. Setting up the account as well as the process of adding new items is very simple, therefore it should not pose any challenge for the users. The website was designed modernly, and worth highlighting is the possibility of users interactivity with website’s content.
