Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , A view on certain conditions for economic growth in Bulgaria (2008-2013)(2014) Šišmanova, Penka DimitrovaEconomic growth is a function of numerous factors that, in their totality, determine its dynamics and stability. This article views only those factors that, to the greatest extent, present the capacity of Bulgaria's economy - labor resources, capital, and knowledge (education, innovations, information and communication technology). Their dynamics for the last five-year period outlines primarily unfavorable changes, which have had a limiting impact on economic growth. This also determines the challenges which Bulgaria has faced in recent years, as it has to direct its efforts towards increasing the effectiveness in the use of available resources.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Miejsce osób starszych w koncepcji smart city(Data obrony: 2019-09-17) Zedel, Alicja

Major part of the paper is the presentation of results of the research project carried out in the period of 2005-2009. The study comprised the analysis of the content of websites of Polish counties (the secondary level of Polish local government system). Four major functions performed by local government websites were identified within the framework of the research. They are: information, promotion, consultation and service delivery. Research results indicate that information delivery is the most advanced form of the Internet offer of local government institutions. At the same time capabilities of more sophisticated aspects of websites content (the stimulation of local public debate as well as electronic service delivery) remain undeveloped. Nevertheless, it is worth stressing that the gradual enhancement of the content of local government websites can be observed.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Serwis społecznościowy jako narzędzie dialogu z wyborcami. Profile polskich partii politycznych na Facebooku(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2014) Karasek-Kędzior, Kinga; Porębski, LeszekThe paper addresses the problem of the use of Facebook by Polish political parties and their voters. Profiles of eight parties - with or without parliamentary representation - have been analyzed. Results of the research prove that both politicians as well as Faccbook users regard the party profile mostly as an instrument for distribution of information. Political mobilization and building group identity play limited and secondary roles. It is worth stressing that there is no direct relation between the position occupied by a specific party on the political scene and the intensity of potential Facebook use. Parties which avail themselves of the more advanced capabilities of social networks are most often outsiders on the political scene, only struggling for a strong political position.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Zrównoważony rozwój miasta Kielce w oparciu o koncepcję Smart City(Data obrony: 2020-09-23) Pajek, Dominika
