    The Internet has become - to use the Bolter terminology - a tool that defines our times. It medium has become a principle of the world in which we are living. This article aims to compare the community of Internet users vs. not using the Internet in Poland. The author on the based on many data - statistical studies, research reports draws a picture of the average Internet user, presents ways to use this medium, but also answers the question, why the relatively large proportion of our population does not use the Net.
