This study shows analysis the protection of deep excavation slope, which was suggested by a designer. For a global slop stability there were used soil nails and slope surface was covered in the form of reinforced concrete panels. Theoretical part contains introduction of slope stability problem with a description of the methods, which were used in the following section. Furthermore, there is a soil characteristic located on the considered area. The author made calculations using software Geo5 to show reasons, why soil nails were chosen as the best protection. For the calculation the same parameters as in the draft regulations were adopted, obtained from laboratory tests. In order to compare outcomes few methods were used: Swedish method, Janbu method and Sarma method. Finally, safeness coefficient for accepted nail arrangement, length and bearing capacity was checked.
