Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Azotany w wodach jurajskiego piętra wodonośnego w rejonie Olkusza(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2010) Żurek, Anna J.; Czop, Mariusz; Motyka, JacekJurassic aquifer represents the Major Groundwater Basin (MGWB) 326 which is located in Upper Jurassic carbonate rocks. The hydrodynamic conditions in the Jurassic aquifer are very complex, with different types of hydraulic connections with neighbouring aquifers. Therefore the quality of the Jurassic aquifer has affected groundwater quality in Quaternary and Triassic rocks. Nitrates have been the main indicator of groundwater contamination. The regime of springs located in the study area (high fluctuation of discharge and temperature) indicates local drainage. The quality of spring-water has reflected the land use of spring recharge area. The chemistry of deep well-water has shown the quality variation of regional flow system water. Nitrate variability in spring-water (period 2001-2008) and in well-water (1995-2007) has indicated the regional trends of groundwater quality changes in the Jurassic aquifer near Olkusz.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Kształtowanie się zwierciadła wody w obrębie leja depresji olkuskich kopalń rud $Zn-Pb$(Data obrony: 2014-06-18) Lampa, Katarzyna
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe purpose of this thesis was to present the conditions of forming of the groundwater table within the precinct of the cone of depression around Olkusz’s mine of $Zn-Pb$ ores and the influence of mining in examined area were presented. Hydrogeological conditions of Triassic, Jurassic and Quaternary aquifer, conditions of their supply and drainage were described. Contacts between water-bearing horizons were characterized. The development and range of existence through the years of the cone of depression, that has been formed, when mines were dehydrating was presented. Maps of hydroisopleths of Jurassic aquifer were drawn on the basis of examinations performed during field research in 2012. Map of the cone of depression of Jurassic aquifer positions differences was drawn on the basis of archival data collected in 1970-1973 compared to data collected in 2012. There have been indicated areas of maximum reduction of the groundwater cone of depression over the years. 9 specimen of water were sampled to perform hydrogeochemical analysis from the sources found within the precinct of examined area.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Tendencje zmian jakości wód podziemnych w wodach jurajskiego piętra wodonośnego w rejonie Olkusza na podstawie obserwacji w źródłach(Data obrony: 2013-09-06) Mróz, Michał
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe aim of this thesis was the assessment of trends of changes in groundwater quality of the Jurassic aquifer (MGWB 326) in the Olkusz region based on spring water observations. Chemical analysis was carried out based on spring water samples taken from 28 locations during field work which took place on the 18.04, 31.05 and 05.07 of 2013. Concentration results as well as spatial differentiation of the main contamination indicators (nitrates and chlorides) were compared with data from research conducted in the past at the department of Hydrogeology & Engineering Geology (KHGI) at the University of Science & Technology (AGH) Kraków between 2001–2010. Trends, as well as hypothetical causes of spring water contamination were determined using probabilistic and box-plot diagrams of nitrate concentrations, chloride/nitrate correlation diagrams, Piper diagram and maps containing average concentrations of nitrates with landscape development in the background and Udluft diagrams.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , The chemistry and quality of water from the artesian wells of the Jurassic aquifer in Krakow(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2014) Chruszcz-Lipska, Katarzyna; Winid, Bogumiła; Maruta, Michał; Chmura-Skirlińska, AntoninaSelected quality parameters of groundwater from four artesian wells of the Jurassic aquifer located in the center of Krakow (Cracow) are presented. Water from these public wells i.e. Nadzieja, Jagielloński, Królewski and Lajkonik, during 20 years of exploitation, has had constant bacteriological purity and rather constant chemical composition. A comparison of nitrates concentration in the investigated wells with Quaternary wells located in the same area, and with municipal drinking water in Krakow shows that water from the above-mentioned four wells is characterized by the lowest concentration of NO3 ions. Very low nitrate and nitrite concentration suggests that despite passage of time the chemical composition of water from the investigated intakes is not affected by anthropogenic pollution because of isolation of water reservoir due to geological conditions.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Wpływ zagospodarowania terenu na jakość jurajskiego piętra wodonośnego w okolicach Olkusza(Data obrony: 2018-10-30) Środa, Mateusz
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaW pracy przedstawiono wpływ zagospodarowania terenu na jakość wód podziemnych jurajskiego piętra wodonośnego w okolicach Olkusza. Analiza morfologii terenu, warunków hydrogeologicznych i zagospodarowania obszaru spływu do ujęcia pozwoliła na zaklasyfikowanie źródeł do poszczególnych rodzajów zagospodarowania powierzchni terenu. Badania własne oraz archiwalne wykorzystano do scharakteryzowania wód z poszczególnych typów zagospodarowania terenu oraz do określenia aktualnego stanu chemicznego wód podziemnych oraz tendencji zmian stężenia azotanów w czasie.
