Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Występowanie okruszcowania polimetalicznego w Górach Ołowianych (Sudety Zachodnie, Polska)(Data obrony: 2013-12-19) Orligóra, Wojciech
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe objective of the study was an ore mineralization in the Lead Mountains, located in the eastern cover of the Karkonosze granite massif. The mineralogical studies have been performed to identify polymetallic mineralization using modern research methods. Samples were taken from heaps of old mine excavations. The identyfication of mineral phases was carried out with use of optical microscopy (reflected and transmitted light). Chemical composition of the ore-assemblage components was determined using a scanning electron microscope (SEM-EDS). Galena and chalcopyrite are the main minerals within the ore assemblage. It commonly coexist with hematite, bornite, covellite, magnetite, pyrite, sphalerite, cuprite and malachite. There were also identified rarer minerals such as matildite or jacobsite.
