Atrakcje geoturystyczne Gminy Nowy Targ

The main aim of this thesis is to characterise the most interesting geotouristic attractions of the Nowy Targ common like: Kowaniec Waterfall, Przymiarki Peat Bog, Skałka Rogoźnicka Reserve, Bór na Czerwonem Reserve, Przełom Białki Reserve, Gęśle i Basy, Podhale Flysch on Białka River. Descriptions of each objects include location, detailed geological structure, development and its importance. Moreover, this thesis shows geological structure of the Nowy Targ common, including litostratygraphy and tectonic structure of each units, especially: Pieniny Klippen Belt, Podhale Flysch, Magura Unit, Orawsko – Nowotarska Valley. What is more, the thesis includes natural environment, tourist objects and tourist development of the region. Two geotouristic routes have been depicted in order to emphasise the attractiveness of the Nowy Targ common.

Identyfikacja powierzchniowych objawów ropo i gazonośności na tle wgłębnej budowy geologicznej obszaru Limanowa - Słopnice

Celem pracy była identyfikacja powierzchniowych objawów ropogazonośności na tle wgłębnej budowy geologicznej okolic Słopnic oraz Limanowej w obrębie płaszczowiny magurskiej oraz jednostki dukielsko-grybowskiej. Udokumentowane zostały 42 wycieki węglowodorów głównie w obrębie wychodni warstw krośnieńskich oraz grybowskich. Wycieki występowały głównie w postaci ciemnych plam oraz smug na skałach po ich przełamaniu, oraz w postaci gazu uwięzionego w przestrzeni porowej skał. Intensywność wycieków wskazuje na bardzo niewielką współczesną aktywność procesów generowania oraz migracji węglowodorów. Świadczy też o dobrym uszczelnieniu nagromadzeń węglowodorów.

Ochrona przyrody nieożywionej zachodniej części Beskidu Niskiego

Beskid Niski is situated in the south part of the Poland in the drainage basin of the Wisłoka and Ropa Rivers. The present the maximal lowering of the Carpathians. Is spreading over the area of the Magura Unit that represent an innermost unit of the Flisch Carpatians. However the northern sector of the mountains embraces also fragments of more external units: a north-western part of the Dukla Unit and southern segment of the Silesian Unit In a tectonic window within the Magura Unit the Grybów Unit is exposed. Each of these units displays their own characteristic development of flysch type sediments. The aim of his work is geological heritage conservation and thesis is valuation of selected objects and areas of inanimate nature.

Walory geoturystyczne gminy Mucharz

The master thesis presents characteristics of the most interesting geoturistic sites of the Mucharz common. The selected objects include location, geological structure and photography. This thesis also shows geological structure of this part of Beskid Mały, including litostratygraphy and tectonic structure of two units, expecially: Silesian Unit and Magura Unit. Moreover, the thesis presents natural environment, cultural objects and tourist development of this area. The proposal of geoturist route around the Świnna Poręba Dam shows a lot of different geoturistic values in Mucharz common like: rock formations, quarries, caves and vantage points.
