    This thesis presents the characteristic of therapeutic water deposit in Mateczny (Krakow). The mineral water from Mateczny are therapeutic sulphurous water. Water exploited in Mateczny are of the type: $SO_{4}—Cl—Na—Mg—Ca$, $H_{2}S$. They can be used in balneotherapy. There is a description of location, geological and hydrogeological conditions of water deposit in Mateczny. The thesis presents chemical characteristic of waters and their changes in time. Results of hydrgeochemical modeling in PHREEQC are presented as well.
