Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Analiza głównych składowych dla profilowań geofizyki otworowej w utworach miocenu zapadliska przedkarpackiego(Data obrony: 2010-03-17) Ślęzak, Katarzyna Anna
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaNatural gas deposits of different size are located in the thin-bedded sandstone-shale Miocene formation of the Carpathian Foredeep. Interpretation of well logging data in such works is not an easy issue. A Principal Component Analysis for log data may be useful in the issue of a preliminary grouping of logs and can assist the comprehensive interpretation of well-logging. The first stage of analysis consisted of reducing the number of measured variables, the profiling of nine to four major components. These components were linear combinations of standardized input data. In the first few principal components much of the information has been included, therefore, further components could have been neglected in the further analysis. The next step was to compare the results obtained with the results of the comprehensive interpretation of well-logging done with the use ULTRA program.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Ocena wpływu własności mediów nasycających przestrzenie porowe na parametry sprężyste i oporności skał zbiornikowych rejestrowanych sondami geofizyki otworowej(Data obrony: 2012-07-11) Skupio, Rafał
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThesis concerns assessment of the impact of deposits media that saturate pore spaces on the elastic parameters and resistivity of reservoir rocks. Media that were tested are: gas, oil and water. Batzl & Wang formulas [1992] and formula of Bigelow [1992] were used to make graphs showing changes of parameters. Preceding the calculation, geological structure of the research area is presented. It provides information about gas field Lubliniec – Cieszanów. In the following part, thesis contents information about selected types of tools used to resistivities measurements of rocks along with acoustic logs. The last chapter of thesis is aimed at use of logging results from the Lubliniec – 10 hole, saved as a ‘.las’ file. Data from well logging measurements were used to make velocity models according to formulas of Wyllie [1956] and Raymer – Hunt – Gardner [1980].
