    The following thesis project shows the conception of photovoltaic facade based on photovoltaic thermal hybrid (PVT) solar collectors for a single-family house. First part of project presents ways of using solar radiation, and a short description of used necessary devices. It also describes the condition of solar energy utilization worldwide. In the second part of project the energy yield of hybrid solar installation on the facade of the building was calculated. Then, the calculation result was compared with the outcome for the same installation placed on the roof of the building. Calculations were also made for the case in which the PVT facade was supported by traditional photovoltaic panels.
