Legal basis, technical instructions and purposes of data transfer from the cadastral system are described in the first part of the paper. In the following, the most popular standards are presented. There are DXF, SWDE and two standards based on XML computer language (GML and LandXML). DXF, GML and LandXML are international standards, SWDE is the Polish standard. Two cadastral objects (parcel and building) are created in the computer program Ewmapa and transferred to both DXF and SWDE standards, for better illustration of analysed problem. Legal basis of ground and building cadastre data interchange are given in the first part of the paper. The main part of the article concerns experimental works made by the author. The SWDE files export options from computer system Ewid 2000 are described there. The thorough analysis of the SWDE file obtained for Toszek commune (situated in Gliwice district) was performed in the paper. The contents of all SWDE file sections was described and examples of SWDE objects were also given.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Teraźniejszość i przyszłość standardów wymiany danych ewidencyjnych(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2006) Bydłosz, JarosławIn the paper the concept of information and cadastral data was introduced (concerning Ground and Building Cadastre). As the information, the concept referring to a single item of the cadastre was accepted, while the data might be understood as a set of information and relationships between them. In this paper the exchange and access to cadastral data were shown and the issues related to information were not discussed. Legal bases of giving access to cadastral data were also presented, this implied the answer to the questions who could have access to cadastral data and what the principles of such an access should be as well as the recommendations referring to software for handling the Ground and Building Cadastre, as given in a Technical Instruction G-5. The most important substantial part of the paper is the presentation of data standards used nowadays in the transfer of data on Ground and Building Cadastre, with the description of their present applications and the analysis of the possibilities of their further development and use.
