    The goal of this paper was to interpret the seismic images of oil traps in the layers of the Middle Devonian in the Trough Terebiń area. In this goal geology southwestern Lublin has been discussed along with the tectonic model. Based on geophysical well data in the selected wells, were carried out stratigraphic and lithological interpretations. Through correlation the geophysical well data with highlights on seismic sections became possible interpretations of both boundaries (horizons) of geological as well as the lithological layers. Preliminary interpretation of the results allowed to indicate the structure could be a trap for migrating hydrocarbons. These structures occur in the Devonian, where layers of reservoir rocks are built with carbonate-sand the Middle Devonian. The confirmation of the presence of accumulation of hydrocarbons in area, may be discovered in the southwestern part of the Trough Terebiń area, Komarów natural gas field, found in these layers.
