    Estymowanie tłumienia sejsmicznego (Q) z pomiarów VSP

    In my thesis I present and describe the notion of attenuation as well as cerry out the procedure of data processing to estimate the mentioned parameter. Because of attenuation being complex I try to present all its values as well as its calculation methods, focusing mainly on Q parameter and the spectrum relationship method. Furthermore, I present the VSP seismic method which is the source of the estimation data. The boreholes which deliver the estimation data are Radawiec Mały 1 and Radawiec Mały 2. The estimation of the Q parameter is carried out in VSProwess programme utilizing processing procedure. As a result, the curve of the Q parameter in depth function is found owing to which reversed Q filters are designed, the mentioned filters enhance vertical resolution of a seismic record.
