Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Charakterystyka mineralogiczno-petrograficzna odmian strukturalnych serpentynitów (Sa Thày-Kon Tum, Wietnam)(Data obrony: 2017-07-17) Gola, Maria
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaCelem pracy dyplomowej jest charakterystyka mineralogiczno-petrograficzna serpentynitów z dystryktu Sa Thay w prowincji Kon Tum (centralny Wietnam). Badanych 10 próbek skał pochodzi z różnych głębokości z dwóch otworów wiertniczych LK1 (7 próbek) i LK2 (2 próbki) oraz z wykopu SN203 (1 próbka). Zostały przekazane do badań laboratoryjnych przez geologów z Hanoi University of Mining and Geology. Z czasem serpentynity te uległy wtórnym procesom - karbonatyzacji i otalkowaniu. Badaniami wykazano obecność: minerałów grupy serpentynu, węglanów, talku, reliktów minerałów pierwotnych (oliwny, pirokseny), kwarcu, amfiboli oraz minerałów rudnych (tlenki tytanu, siarczki i tlenki żelaza).Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Lithofacies and depositional environments of the Paleogene/Neogene sediments in the Hoanh Bo Basin (Quang Ninh province, NE Vietnam)(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2015) Tha, Hoang Van; Wysocka, Anna; Pha, Phan Dong; Nguyẽ̂n, Quó̂c Cường; Ziółkowski, PiotrThe Hoanh Bo Basin is a multiple period formed basin which is associated with the tectonic mechanism due to the activity of the Chi Linh-Hon Gai and Trung Luong Faults during the late Paleogene – early Neogene time. The basin is filled with continental sediments, comprising mainly polymictic conglomerates, sandstones, siltstones, claystones and shales. Coarser-grained polymictic deposits predominate along the northern and western margins of the basin, while different types of siltstones, claystones, even sandstones occur in its center, as well as along its southern and eastern parts toward the Ha Long Bay. The source rocks for sedimentary materials are mainly originated from rocks of the Hon Gai and Ha Coi Formations. Based on the dominant grain-size class, texture, stratification, degree of clast rounding and sorting, 17 lithofacies were determined in the Hoanh Bo Basin infill. The basin is filled by gravelly, sandy and fine-grained lithofacies just covers a modest area but it represents a full of succession of 4 depositional systems including alluvial fan, fluvial, deltaic and lacustrine environments. Alluvial fan and fluvial environments are characterized by an assemblage of lithofacies such as sand- and mud-supported disorganized breccias (Gb), clast- to sand-supported conglomerates (Gmm), clast-supported inverse-graded conglomerates (Gig), planar-cross-bedded conglomerates (Gp), trough cross-bedded conglomerates (Gt), horizontally stratified conglomerates (Gh), planar cross-bedded sandstones (Sp), trough cross-bedded sandstones (St), ripple cross-laminated sandstones (Sr), horizontally bedded sandstones (Sh), massive sandstones (Sm), massive mudstones, siltstones (Fsm), laminated siltstones and mudstones (Fl), massive claystones (Fm) and coaly lithofacies (C), the deltaic assemblage is dominated by planar-cross-bedded conglomerates (Gp), horizontally stratified conglomerates (Gh), planar cross-bedded sandstones (Sp), horizontally bedded sandstones (Sh), low-angle cross-bedded sandstones (Sl), while the lacustrine assemblage consists of ripple cross-laminated sandstones (Sr), horizontally bedded sandstones (Sh), normally graded sandstones (Sng), massive mudstones, siltstones (Fsm), laminated siltstones and mudstones (Fl), massive claystones (Fm) and coaly lithofacies (C).Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Pirokseny i produkty ich przeobrażeń w gabrze skapolitowym z masywu alkalicznego Bang Phuc (Wietnam)(Data obrony: 2019-02-01) Zawiła, Michał
Zuskokowane terasy rzeczne i stożki napływowe zostały uformowane głównie w późnym plejstocenie i holocenie, z wyjątkiem teras najwyższych (40 $\div$ 50 m), wieku środkowoplejstoceńskiego.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Sedimentary petrology characteristics and their implications for provenance of Hoanh Bo Basin Neogene system in Quang Ninh province, north-eastern Vietnam(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2017) Tha, Hoang Van; Wysocka, Anna; Nguyẽ̂n, Quó̂c Cường; Pha, Phan Dong; Ziółkowski, PiotrThe Hoanh Bo Basin has developed over multiple periods since the Miocene period in association with the tectonic activity of the Chi Linh-Hon Gai and Trung Luong Faults. The basin is filled with Neogene continental sediments, comprising mainly polymictic conglomerates, sandstones, siltstones, claystones, and shales. Coarser-grained polymictic deposits predominate along the northern and western margins of the basin, whereas different types of siltstones, claystones, and sandstones occur in its centre, as well as along its southern and eastern parts, toward the Ha Long Bay. The conglomerates and sandstones are composed mainly of quartz and sedimentary rock fragments, and a small amount of mica. Cement is mainly built of iron-oxide, clay or carbonate mud. The source area for the Hoanh Bo Basin sediments was located in the close vicinity of the basin. It was built of strongly weathered rocks of the Hon Gai, Ha Coi, Cat Ba Formations.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Statistical evaluation of the geochemical data for prospecting polymetallic mineralization in the Suoi Thau–Sang Than region, Northeast Vietnam(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2020) Khương, Thế Hưng; Sang, Pham Nhu; Nguyễn, Phuong; Vũ, Thái Linh; Sang, Bui VietIn Northeast Vietnam, Suoi Thau-Sang Than is considered as a high potential area of polymetallic deposits. 1,720 geochemical samples were used to investigate polymetallic mineralization, thereby polymetallic ore occurrences in this study region were discovered and the statistical and multivariate analysis helps to define geochemical anomalies in some northeastern regions, namely Suoi Thau, Sang Than, and Ban Kep. The statistical method and cluster analysis of geochemical data indicate that the Cu, Pb, and Zn elements are good indicators, and most of them comply with the lognormal or gamma distribution. Based on the third-order threshold, the geochemical anomalies of the content of the Cu, Pb, and Zn elements reflect the concentration of copper forming ore bodies in the mineralized zone, and clearly show the concentration in three distinct zones. The trend surface analysis which was employed to determine spatial variations and relationships among these good indicator elements and anomalous areas revealed relative changes in the content of the indicator elements, and they can be considered as regular. Moreover, the goodness of fit obtained trend functions of Pb and Zn, and Cu elements is a third-degree trend surface model. These results indicate that the models can be useful in studying geochemical anomalies and analyzing the tendency of the concentration of indicator elements in the Suoi Thau-Sang Than region. Additionally, it is suggested that the statistical analysis shows a remarkable potential to use the bottom river sediments in the region to investigate polymetallic mineralization. Moreover, geochemical data can help to evaluate geochemical anomalies of the pathfinder elements and potential mineral mapping of the Suoi Thau-Sang Than region in Northeast Vietnam.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Sustainable remediation of soil and groundwater in Vietnam(Data obrony: 2018-10-25) Ngo Thi Ha, Duong
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaWietnam stoi w obliczu rosnącej liczby wyzwań związanych z zanieczyszczeniem środowiska, w tym wód i odpadów stałych. Główne czynniki przyczyniające się do tych problemów to wysoki przyrost naturalny, szybka urbanizacja, przyspieszenie przemysłu i słaby respekt przepisów dotyczących ochrony środowiska. Dlatego remediacja i zrównoważony rozwój stanowią problemy konieczne do rozwiązania dla środowiska. Niniejsza praca przedstawia aktualny stan i przyczyny powodujące skażenia środowiska glebowo-wodnego w Wietnamie. Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Tectonics and magmatism in Northwest Vietnam(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Khương, Thế HưngNa tle tektoniki płyt Azji południowo-wschodniej przedstawiono położenie północno-wschodniego Wietnamu i pięć grup skał magmowych genetycznie związanych z tą tektoniką.
