    The thesis describes the theoretical basics of seismic signal and construction of the seismic trace based on the convolution operation. Methods of wavelet extraction are presented and applied on real seismic data using the Hampson-Russell software. Each methods are evaluated and compared to one another. After that, the seismic inversion process, including the zero-phase signal and non zero-phase, is performed. At the end, the necessity of wavelet extraction is proved and generally summarized.
