    Warunki hydrogeologiczne na południe od Olkusza w rejonie Witeradowa i Żurady

    The thesis contains a description of the hydrogeological conditions south of Olkusz in the region of Witeradów and Żurada. The conditions of groundwater flow, mine-water inflow to “Olkusz Mine” and changes of groundwater table level are presented. Based on the available results of chemical analyzes of the years 1996 – 2013, the chemical composition including mineralization, pH, EC, major components, minor elements in the waters of the springs was analyzed. The quality of groundwater in accordance to the sanitary requirement was assessed. Underground water due to mineralization is defined as a fresh water, in some cases as a acratopegae, with a pH ranging from subacidic to subalkaline. The average value of electrolytic conductivity was equal to 548 ?S/cm. The groundwater contained high concentration of carbonate, calcium and sulphate ions.
