    Research was based on the dataset of 877 samples taken from irregularly, distributed drill holes located in NE of the upper Silesian coal basin. They provided information about thickness of mineralization, Zn and Pb contents, and their product - meterpercent. In presented thesis meterpercents of Zn and Pb were analysed. As interesting was recognized these values of meterpercent which were greater than 0.2, 0.5 and 1.0 m%. The main goal of the thesis was constructing the maps of probability of exceeding the thresholds established. Classical, statistical methods and geostatistical methods including variography and indicator kriging have been used for given task executing.
