    Oil and natural gas exploitation are connected with the problem of utilization of highly mineralized reservoir waters, separated on the surface of produced hydrocarbons. The recent practice in Poland and in other countries is to inject reservoir waters to the rock mass through pre-selected post-production wells. The evaluation criteria for absorptive of layers in view of their injection abilities are presented in the paper along with theoretical fundamentals of the injection process.
